Greetings,

Wherever you are on the home business journey, you're up against the prevailing challenge of how to manage your time.

I remember how I used to cram in so much work I often inconvenienced myself for the sake of my customers. I just wanted to be perceived as a "yes" person who could get things done and make things happen.

But that approach sometimes backfired. Too often I found myself dealing with late nights and unbelievable stress and drudgery throughout – just because I wanted to build my business hard and fast.

Sometimes, of course, we misjudge what we’re capable of; other times the circumstances dictate that we’re temporarily over-extended.

But in general, why take it on if it’s going to be a headache or a hassle – just for the sake of making more money?

So I say, only bite off what you can chew. (This doesn’t mean you should play small!)

It’s just a reminder that having your own home business is having your own home business. Treat yourself right and build a business you love -- not one that beats you up like the jobs you once had.
